Tis the season of giving! In collaboration with the City of Dayton and AFSCME Ohio Local 101, we are helping collect donations for veterans. Donations will be collected at the four locations listed on the image above and the Wish List of items are included. Donation sites will be open for collection until December 20th.

Join us on December 16th with Wreaths Across America - Dayton National Cemetery for their annual remembrance ceremony This nationwide ceremony allows us to honor the fallen, remember those who serve, and teach future generations the value of freedom.

 

Volunteers will place thousands of wreaths at the graves of our nation’s veterans while reading every name aloud. Help us support as many wreaths as possible for our fallen veterans or volunteer to help place them. The ceremony starts at noon!

Thanks to Fifth Third Bank, The Wright State VMAS Career Advancement Program (CAP) was created to reimburse up to $500 to qualifying individuals seeking licenses, certifications, or training to enhance their careers or professional skills. Receipts can date back two years.

The application window for the second round of applicants will open at a TBD date.

VMAS hosts numerous events throughout the year in support of our organizational goals. We invite members to take part as a volunteer or simply to attend, show support, and build our VMAS community.

    The Third Annual Wright State Veteran and Military Alumni Society Cornhole Tournament will be held on March 23, 2024. The registration link will be made available once it is published on the Wright State Alumni Association site.
