VMAS Night at The Nutter Center

On the evening of January 24th, VMAS held our first event of 2020 as Wright State Men's Basketball took on the Northern Kentucky Norse at 9 pm on ESPNU. We were excited for our first event of the year, and to see the Raiders in action.

We were able to host 11 guests in the suite and provide the Rowdy's Feast thanks to some guidance from the Alumni Association. We had numerous visitors throughout the game, and it was a delight to be able to spend some time with some of the many people who are part of our VMAS community.

As the game began, it was clear that Wright State came to show the nation what they are capable of as they defeated the Norse 95-63. It was the Raiders’ largest and most electrifying crowd of the season, with 6,217 in attendance, including Governor Mike DeWine sitting and new WSU president Susan Edwards sitting on the baseline.

Thank you to the Alumni Association, our guests, and Wright State Basketball, for making our first event of 2020 a success. Interested in how you can be a part of our next event? Keep an eye out as we post events through social media and check our Events page regularly.
